HELP ON REGISTERING AND LISTING YOUR AD
Here you can see the first stage to list your items, you need to register your details, and please note, this list may change at any time, depending on our requirements. All fields need to filled in if it has an * next to it, and remember that; say a phone number would help you sell you items, or even your address, but this will not be needed if you have an Email at your disposal. Also you will see a "?" on the end of the input boxes, if you need help just press the Question mark.

Press REGISTER and you are now a member of FarmTrader, and will be sent an email with your password.

NOTE: you can change your password anytime in the members area.

Placing your Ad

as you can see, it should have your user name in the form below, if this is not your user name, then just click, CLICK HERE and login using you password and user name.

If you want to include an image of your item, then select YES in the selection box, but remember that there maybe a charge for this service, but all text base Ads are FREE, ok just press NEXT to continue.

Next put all your details of how the buyer can contact you, and your selling item's details.

CHOOSE A CATEGORY is the place to put your AD, select the one that most suits your item.

ADVERTS HEADING is the title of your advert.

in NUMBER OF DAYS AD WILL RUN you can select the number of days the Ad will be on the classifieds system, but of course you can select the maximum number as shown under the days select box.

PRICE is the asking price for your item. Click next to continue.

Next you can see a text box, this is for your item's description and details, take some time and put as much detail as you can in here, it will make the Ad look better and your buyer can see what they are getting, click next to continue.

If you have elected to upload an image, all you need to do is make sure your picture of the item you want to advertise is on your computer's hard drive or a disk. Press BROWSE and your computer's file system will appear for you to select the item's image from your disk or hard drive. Now when you see the image, click on it and press open and you will see the files come in to the image box as below, now just press next to upload it.

A PICTURE IS WORTH A THOUSAND WORDS.

PLEASE NOTE: Try to keep your picture smaller than 100 X 150 MM (4 X 6 in), as your Ad will look better. This is the normal size of a picture from the photo processors or chemists. If your picture is any other size, then scan it at max width off around 150mm (6 in), as a longer picture is ok.

Here you go, now you can see your picture ready for your Ad, if not press the back button and try again. You can upload more pictures if needed, but may incur a charge for each image that is uploaded.

If enabled, you may see special features, if so you can select one that suits your needs,

 but please note that if there is a price at the side of any feature then you  may be charged for this service. Remember an Ad with a picture or listed in the feature view will attract more clients to your item. 

Click next to finish off.

All done, you can review your details in this section and make changes if needed, and if everything looks ok, then press finish.

PLEASE NOTE: Your Ad will need to be authorised by FarmTrader before it will be shown.
